Quick update to the Giant Miniature Art Exhibition 2023 in Australia. There were over 800 entries from 217 artists from 20 countries around the world. The judging panel distilled the number of candidates down to one hundred entries from which they will choose the winner. The book has been released with a Selection of 300 Artworks. I have a great pleasure to inform you that two of my miniature paintings made it to the book and to the “Judges’ Top 100 Selection”. It was a great achievement to make it to the top 100 along with many great artists such as Julian Bruere, Mykhailo Rychkov, Nina Volk, Ray Hewitt, not mentioning one of my favourite artist Joseph Zbukvic.
Congratulations to the Philippines-based miniature painter Nina Hidalgo who on this Year award with her work titled “Good Old Times”
