My story begins in Łódź, Poland, where I was born in 1983 and where my earliest memories involve watching my father paint. He was an oil painter, and even though he passed away when I was young, the sight of his canvases taking shape stayed with me and guided me into the world of art. Today, I continue that family tradition through classical painting.
I am an independent artist based in Northampton, UK, specialising in expressive, traditional watercolour art.
Animals are my most frequent subjects, but my artistic influences reach beyond them—particularly to architectural watercolourists like Alvaro Castagnet and Joseph Zbukvic. I prefer a loose, expressive technique, which lets emotion lead the painting and allows every brushstroke to carry a piece of the artist.
Last but not least, on top of everything, I have a great passion for concept art and digital illustrations.
